OVERVIEW

In 2015, after a competitive RFP process, the Denver Housing Authority awarded TreeHouse Real Estate the incredible site right on the edge of historic Curtis Park and RiNo that S*Park would be built on. Working alongside old friends Tres Birds Workshop, TreeHouse created the mixed-use vision for S*Park to include a wide array of condominium options featuring diverse architectural design, a 20,000 square foot private, central park amenity, on-site commercial greenhouse, and UCHI restaurant, among other retail spaces. The 91 condo units offered options ranging from studios to larger townhome units.

DESIGN NOTES

The brightly colored bird houses were designed and built as exact replicas of classic, nearby Curtis Park homes constructed from the 1880s to the 1930s. To quote Mike Moore of Tres Birds: “When you create spaces that encourage the natural world, it arrives. From wildlife to organic growth. It’s therapeutic, healthy, and just good overall.”
